Get a Sitecore Azure Environment file

Go to Sitecore Azure Environment File Setup and request a Sitecore Azure Environment file.

Sitecore will provide you with a signed environment file within two business days. While you are waiting:

Go to the Microsoft Download Center and download the Microsoft Azure SDK for .NET 2.7.1.

Ensure you have the following set of required tools:

• MicrosoftAzureAuthoringTools-x64 (v 2.7.1)
• MicrosoftAzureLibsForNet-x64 (v 2.7)
• MicrosoftAzureComputeEmulator-x64 (v 2.7)
• MicrosoftAzureStorageEmulator (v 4.1)

To install the Microsoft Azure SDK 2.7.1, follow the installation instructions on the Microsoft Download Center.

Ensure your firewall allows outgoing connections to the Azure service management endpoint.
